Cloud computing

Got the vapors? We could care less if we run a system in our data center or in the cloud. It's all managing systems to us. The cloud is really good for projects that need on-demand and quick changes to resources. It's also really good for testing, getting a lot of computing resources for a short amount of time, and procuring additional anythings with very little lead time.

    Buzzzzword alert.

cloud.pngThe cloud is a huge buzzword these days, and since we've promised to be straight-shooters, we'd like to dispel some of the ooh-la-la surrounding it. The cloud isn't suddenly going to solve all your problems. You still need to manage your systems, know how to configure them, worry about security, blah, blah, blah. The cloud is just a new platform that opens up some new capabilities for you. It isn't going to wash your clothing, but unfortunately too many people think it will... just look at what they're wearing.

    Wash, dry, fold.

That's why you need us when you want to host something in the cloud. We wash our undies the old-fashioned way: in a washing machine. And we know whether your project is the kind that should be put in the cloud. Just ask us.
