You're probably pretty aware of the need to back up your critical data. If not, go smack yourself around a bit and come back to this later. Disk failure, malware, viruses, human stupidity, and mighty ACTS OF GOD can all result in the cold-sweat inducing panic attack that is data loss. If you've ever experienced this, you know exactly what we mean. If not, believe us... it's like having your eyeballs waxed.
Want to avoid something gross like that? You need to be backing up off-site. It's not enough to assume your IT guy is making backups happen, or occasionally backing-up to disk. It's not enough to let your OS automatically back up to external drives that are sitting there on your desk, or in the server room.

With our Offsite Backup system, you can be absolutely certain your data is secure for a number of good reasons. First, data you back up to our servers is encrypted before it even leaves your location—so it travels over the internet encrypted, and is then stored on our server encrypted. If you need to restore any data from your off-site backup, it is then returned to you encrypted, and decrypted on your computer.
We do not have the ability to decrypt your data, only you do. So you can be sure no one's getting your data but you. Come to think of it, if you're a total numbnut who's bad with passwords, even you might not get at your data. If you forget your password, there's NOTHING we can do to get your data back for you. Sounds scary, we're sure. But this ensures your data is safe from everyone and everything but your own foibles.
Your data is stored in two separate offsite locations, with AES encryption at the same level banks use. If you think your data deserves as much protection as Citibank's, you really should get this service.
